Kairos Eurythmy Training Programme

Kairos Eurythmy Training Kapstadt wurde 1998 durch Silke Sponheuer und Kolleginnen begründet. „Kairos“ ist der Gott der griechischen Antike und steht für „den erfüllten Augenblick“. Es geht in der eurythmischen Ausbildung darum, jederzeit aus der Wahrnehmung von Zeit und Raum in präzise und vollendete Bewegung zu kommen.

Mit den Worten der Einrichtung: „This Art Form teaches absolute awareness of Being, and Body language. It is an Expression of energy in motion, come to life through Poetry, Prose, Dramatic works and Music. Eurythmy works on a deep level with our Emotions. It stimulates the Body, Mind and Spirit, enabling us to meet the challenges of modern life. In this way Eurythmy is not only a Performing Art and Educational Tool, but a Therapy as well.“

Es gibt unterschiedliche Ausbildungsangebote:

• Bachelor of Arts (Dance) in Eurythmy: 4 Jahre Vollzeitstudium bzw. 6 Jahre in Teilzeit. Bedingung: gute Englischkenntnisse, Interesse an Waldorfpädagogik.
  Akkreditierung durch Council on Higher Education's Higher Education Quality Committee (CHE/HEQC), Registrierung durch South Africa Department of Education,

• Upgrade from Diploma in Eurythmy to Bachelor of Arts (Dance): 1 Jahr Volzeitstudium, Voraussetzung: BA Tanz oder ein Eurythmiediplom,

• One-year Artistic Course: entsprechend dem Aufbaukurs, aber kürzer in der Zeit.
